We understand that many stories—particularly those written by women, caregivers, educators, and late-blooming creatives—have historically been overlooked or mishandled. Our approach centers on collaboration, informed decision-making, and respect for the author’s voice.
We publish intentionally, accepting a limited number of projects each year to ensure every author receives focused, individualized support.

I never set out to be a “professional” anything.
I was just a mom who wrote.
Just a mom who cooked.
Just a mom who sang.
Until one day, I realized I was doing the work—and the work had quietly become professional.
Ember Muse Publishing grew from that same place: where lived experience meets discipline, and creativity meets responsibility.
After years of writing, editing, advocating, and building within creative and professional spaces, it became clear that stories like mine—and like so many others—needed a publishing home rooted in care, intention, and humanity.
I believe stories don’t need to be loud to be powerful.
They need to be honest.
